GTA6VICE is an independent fan site dedicated to thoughtful, high-quality coverage of Grand Theft Auto VI.
When the first GTA 6 trailer dropped in December 2023, the internet went wild — and for good reason. It was the most anticipated piece of entertainment in years.
But with that excitement came an overwhelming amount of low-quality content: fake leaks, clickbait, AI-generated nonsense, and rumor mills that treat speculation as fact.
We built GTA6VICE to be the opposite: a place for careful analysis, clear sourcing, and writing that respects both the developers and the community.
I'm a longtime Grand Theft Auto fan who has been analyzing Rockstar's games, marketing, and development approach for over a decade. I've followed every major release, dug through earnings calls, studied design interviews, and spent thousands of hours in the worlds Rockstar builds.
This site exists because I was tired of the low-effort rumor mills and AI-generated "news" that flooded the internet after the first GTA 6 trailer. My goal is simple: produce the kind of clear, sourced, carefully considered coverage I wish existed for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
GTA6VICE is a solo passion project. We are not a media company. We are not funded by investors. We are not trying to "break" news that doesn't exist. We're simply building the kind of site we wish existed when GTA 5 launched — thoughtful, well-designed, and honest about its limitations.
The site is built with a focus on longevity. Much of our content is designed to remain useful for years — deep comparisons, historical context, and thoughtful exploration of what makes the series special.
