Frame-by-frame observations from the second official GTA 6 trailer — and what they might tell us.

The second trailer (released May 2025) was significantly more gameplay-adjacent than the first. While still highly produced, it showed more of the actual world and systems players will interact with.

Characters We Haven’t Met Yet

Beyond Lucia and Jason, the second trailer introduced several new faces. Some appear to be antagonists or major supporting characters. Others may be one-off mission givers. Rockstar is very good at hiding major story information in plain sight.

Why Trailer Analysis Matters

Rockstar’s marketing is famously tight-lipped. Every frame of these trailers is deliberate. The team has a long history of hiding major mechanics, characters, and even entire regions in plain sight (remember how long it took people to realize GTA V had three protagonists?).

Our approach with these breakdowns is not to overclaim or invent details, but to catalog what is visually verifiable and flag what remains genuinely unknown. This creates a useful reference as more information is released over the coming months.
